At The Northwood, an adults only pet friendly guesthouse, we pride ourselves on being a true family-run retreat. You’ll find us nestled in the heart of Rhos-on-Sea, a gentle 175-yard stroll from the elegant local shops and the fresh sea air of the Promenade. It is the perfect spot for those who want the seaside at their doorstep while still enjoying a bit of peace and quiet.

Because we are tucked away from the main A55 expressway and the railway line, our guests enjoy a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. You can truly relax here, knowing the only sounds you’ll hear are the ones you choose.

We offer seven comfortable rooms, six of which are located on the first floor allowing us to cater for 1, 2 3 & 4 people. We are especially proud of our ground-floor double room; it has been thoughtfully designed for wheelchair users and features a brand-new, modern wet room to ensure your stay is as easy as it is relaxing.

Getting here and exploring the coast is a breeze. If you’re visiting us by bus, the Llandudno to Colwyn Bay service stops right outside our front door, and the coastal route to Rhyl is just as accessible from the seafront. If you are bringing your own car, you can leave your worries at the gate—we are one of the few guesthouses in the area to provide our own private, off-road parking.

Whether you are looking for a quick one-day visit, a quiet mid-week escape, or a traditional “Mini-Break,” we would love to have you. We offer special rates throughout the year, so there is always a good reason to come and stay a while.
